Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 5, 2026
Policy version: privacy-2026-09-05.v4. This policy explains how usehitch.ai handles information associated with the Hitch website, Job Hunt waitlist, executive-training inquiries, and San Francisco incubator applications.
Job Hunt private-beta waitlist
If you join the Job Hunt waitlist, Hitch stores your email address, your contact and optional analytics choices, approved campaign tags from the link you used, a random record identifier, a submission count, and created and updated timestamps in its primary waitlist database. After that database confirms the request was stored, Hitch also sends the email address, submission time, page, and approved campaign tags to HubSpot as a non-marketing waitlist contact. We use this information to operate the waitlist, decide whom to invite, contact you about the Hitch Mac beta, attribute requests to campaigns, protect the service, and maintain accurate records. A later submission using the same email address increments the primary record count but does not replace the earlier record. The form does not accept resumes, documents, or free-form personal information.
Campaign tags are kept in the current browser tab until you submit and are not written to browser storage. Nothing typed into the form is sent to Meta. Personal information is not sold.
Optional cookies and analytics
Optional analytics are off unless you accept them. If you do, the site loads Meta's browser pixel and HubSpot's tracking code to measure page views, ad performance, and confirmed waitlist requests. These providers may receive ordinary web-request information such as your IP address, browser and device information, their cookies, the page address, and the referring page. Before either tracker loads, Hitch removes arbitrary query values from the visible address; HubSpot receives only the page path and allowlisted campaign identifiers needed for attribution. No email address or other form field is sent to Meta. A Meta Lead event is sent only after the primary database confirms the request was stored. If you allow analytics, HubSpot may associate its tracking cookie and opted-in visit with the non-marketing waitlist contact created after that confirmed write. You can reject optional cookies or change your choice by clearing site data in your browser.
Executive training inquiries
If you submit the executive training form, Hitch collects your name, work email, role, organization, selected area of interest, optional time zone, and the text you provide, together with a random submission identifier and consent timestamp. Hitch uses this information only to review and respond to your inquiry; it is not marketing consent, and the form does not schedule a meeting or create an engagement. Do not include confidential company information, credentials, personal data, or documents. Access is limited to Seth through the private review workflow. Hitch does not intentionally store raw IP addresses or raw user-agent strings in the inquiry record. Abuse protection may temporarily store a keyed hash of the source IP in a separate security record.
Executive inquiries in new or reviewing status are scheduled for deletion 180 days after last activity. Closed inquiries are scheduled for deletion 90 days after the closing event. The associated idempotency data and audit events are deleted with the inquiry.
Incubator applications
If you submit an incubator application, Hitch collects your name, email, what you want to build or automate, an optional note, pending-application acknowledgment, operational contact consent, 18-or-older confirmation, a random submission identifier, and related timestamps. We use this information only to review and respond to the application and to operate an accepted session. It is not marketing consent. An application is pending, not an acceptance, reservation, or confirmation.
Do not include credentials, confidential or employer information, health or financial-account information, documents, personal data about other people, or a private address. The MVP is for people 18 or older and does not collect birth dates. The private street address is not stored in Hitch's database or included in the Calendar template; if an application is accepted, Seth manually adds the attendee and address in Google Calendar before reviewing and sending an invitation.
Pending applications are scheduled for deletion 90 days after last activity. Accepted applications awaiting an invitation are scheduled for deletion 90 days after the associated session. Declined, withdrawn, or cancelled applications are scheduled for deletion 90 days after the terminal event. Invited or attended records are scheduled for deletion 12 months after the associated session. Idempotency data, private notes, audit events, and associated sync records are deleted with the application.
Abuse protection and technical data
Hosting and security services may process information ordinarily needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, browser and device type, request time, referring page, and security logs. Hitch's form workflows do not intentionally log request bodies, email addresses, authorization headers, cookies, CSRF values, raw IP addresses, or raw user-agent strings. Separate abuse-control tables retain only keyed source hashes for no more than 24 hours.
Recovery history and deletion
Managed database recovery systems may retain deleted records until the provider's recovery window expires. Deletion from the active database does not necessarily remove a record immediately from that recovery history. Hitch verifies the applicable recovery behavior before enabling collection and limits restoration access to managed operational recovery.
Job Hunt waitlist records in the primary database and HubSpot are retained only as reasonably needed for the stated purpose, security, legal, and recordkeeping requirements. Deletion and retention cleanup are currently operator-run rather than automatic, so Hitch does not promise a fixed completion deadline. You may request correction or deletion at support@usehitch.ai.
Brad's public story
The executive-training page publishes the exact permission-cleared video, poster, captions, and transcript described next to the player. It presents Brad Rothenberg's personal experience working directly with Seth and discloses their family relationship. It does not represent ACCESS U Foundation as endorsing Hitch.
Service providers
Infrastructure, hosting, database, security, workspace, CRM, analytics, email, and Calendar providers may process information as needed to provide their services, subject to their own terms and legal obligations. Job Hunt waitlist contacts are mirrored into HubSpot as described above. Submitted executive-training inquiries and incubator applications are mirrored into Seth's access-controlled Notion workspace for review. The website itself does not automatically send email or Calendar events.
Private educational simulation
A separate educational simulation is nonpublic and access-controlled. Learner entries and progress are intended to remain in browser memory only for the active session; the simulation makes no real AI call, performs no external action, and does not objectively assess a learner.
Your choices
You may ask not to be contacted or request access, correction, or deletion where applicable, subject to legal and security exceptions. Personal information is not sold. Do not submit sensitive personal, student, financial-account, health, credential, or confidential employer information through public forms.
Security, changes, and contact
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no system can guarantee absolute security. Material new collection or product behavior requires an updated notice and policy-version review before further collection.
